Second Global Express Distillers Yeast Test Results: “More Yield Than Tomato Paste Wash”
THE RESULTS of our second test for Global Express Fast & Clean Distillers Yeast are in.
Home Distillers Club member Ian Dalton ran his test, starting with a wash of 6kg sugar and 150g of Global Express, day one, at 8.30 pm.
Specific gravity was 1.093 at 30°C.
“On Day 2 I checked the specific gravity at 8.30 am. The brew was still bubbling and SG was 1010.

“On day 3 the specific gravity was 1005 at 9 am and the wash was still bubbling slowly,” Ian said.
“After 4½ days the wash achieved 3.73 litres at 93% which is .43 litres more than I usually get from a tomato paste wash.
“Most important to me was that there was hardly any sediment and almost no smell.”
