Global Flavors Kentucky Bourbon Beef Marinade

KENTUCKY BURBON Beef Marinade is perfect for adding a depth of flavor to various cuts of beef before grilling or roasting.

The combination of bourbon, soy sauce, and spices creates a delectable sweet and savory profile that complements the richness of beef.

Whether used for steaks, ribs, or kebabs, this marinade is sure to elevate the taste of your beef dishes to new heights.

Ingredients:

  • 500ml Global Flavors Kentucky Bourbon spirit essence
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1.5kg beef (such as steak or flank steak)

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, combine the Global Flavors Kentucky Bourbon spirit essence, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, black pepper, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk the marinade ingredients together until well combined.
  • Place the beef in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the beef, ensuring it is fully coated. If using a plastic bag, seal it securely, removing as much air as possible. If using a dish, cover it with plastic wrap.
  • Marinate the beef in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight. During this time, turn the beef occasionally to ensure even marination.
  • When you are ready to cook the beef, preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Remove the beef from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Grill the beef for about 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the beef and your preferred level of doneness.
  • Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a tender and flavorful result.
  • Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips. Serve hot and enjoy the succulent and bourbon-infused flavors.

This marinade can also be used for other cuts of beef, such as ribs or kebabs.

Adjust the cooking time accordingly based on the cut and thickness of the meat.

Until next time… Happy Distilling!

Cheers
